Welcome to By Lowenstein. By ordering goods on Bylowenstein.com online shop you automatically accept the below terms and conditions. We recommend that you read these terms and conditions carefully before submitting your order.

Order procedure
Before placing an order, you must enter your personal information such as name, address and payment information. When you have done so, you will receive confirmation of your order by e-mail. When payment has been approved and registration has been posted in our stock control system, you will receive confirmation by e-mail. Office hours are (GMT +1) Monday-Thursday from 9.00-16.00 and Friday from 9.00-15.00.

Freight
Freight charges will be calculated at the time of purchase and will be displayed in your shopping cart.

All prices displayed on Bylowenstein.com online shop are stated in Euro and are inclusive of 25% VAT.

Right of cancellation
Bylowenstein.com online shop grants full right of cancellation for a period of 14 days from the day after you receive the goods.

Goods must be returned unused in their original condition and in their original, undamaged packaging. We do not accept packages sent COD. As soon as we have received and approved the cancelled goods, we will credit your account with the amount you paid for the goods. We will pay the delivery charges, however, shipment costs for the return of a product are non-refundable. Refunds are issued to the credit card that was originally charged. This is to avoid the use of stolen credit cards. Please remember to state your registration and account numbers for the bank transfer. Please keep your post office receipt as documentation of shipment of the returned goods. All costs in connection with the return of goods will be paid by the customer.

Complaints
Bylowenstein.com online shop operates under the Danish Sales of Goods Act and the guidelines issued by the National Consumer Agency. The provisions of the Danish Sale of Goods Act regulate complaints. This means that the customer has 24 months notice on faults and defects on a product. However, this does not apply to errors, damage or wear and tear due to improper use, lack of maintenance or normal wear and tear. If you wish to file a complaint, report a defect or non-delivery, please do so and dispatch to service@bylowenstein.com. Alternative dispute resolution
If you wish to complain about a product or service purchased from us, you may apply for dispute resolution with: Center for Klageløsning (Centre for Complaint Resolution) under the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark. You can file a complaint via www.forbrug.dk You can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform to file a complaint. This is especially relevant if you are a consumer resident outside Denmark, in another EU member state. File your complaint here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr.

Payment

Bylowenstein.com online shop accepts PayPal and direct payment using the following credit cards: Dankort, Mastercard, Maestro-kort, VISA, Visa Electron, American Express.

You will not be charged until the goods are despatched from our warehouse.

All prices displayed on Bylowenstein.com online shop are stated in DKK and are inclusive of 25% VAT.

Security
Bylowenstein.com online shop is fully secure as all communication between our payment system and the credit card holder takes place via an encrypted SSL connection (Secure Socket Layer). In other words, only PBS (Danish Payments Systems) will have access to your data. Neither Bylowenstein.com online shop nor any third parties will be able to see the data being exchanged in connection with the purchase. Bylowenstein.com Online shop will keep your personal contact information strictly confidential, and we guarantee that none of it will be disclosed to third parties.

 

Customs and VAT
If you order from a country within the European Union, the prices include Danish VAT, but no customs duty will be added in accordance with the rules governing free movement of goods.

If you order from a country outside the European Union, packages will be shipped DDU and customs duty and other costs will be payable by the person receiving the goods.

Sales offerings are subject to price rises, VAT changes, movements of exchange rates, sold out/out-of-stock items and typing errors.

Terms of delivery

General terms
All goods will be sent by parcel post, which allows you to track the package. The goods are insured in transit and you are requested to check the contents of the package on delivery. If the package and/or contents are damaged upon receipt, you must notify By Löwenstein ApS immediately, or not later than seven days after receipt, and return the goods to us. Bylowenstein.com online shop will not be liable for goods damaged in transit.

All goods are safely packaged to minimise damage in transit.

Delivery time
For shipments outside Denmark freight will be calculated individually. Bylowenstein.com online shop will not be liable for any delays caused by freighting company. In the event of non-delivery, Bylowenstein.com online shop will make a replacement delivery at no cost to you.
